1-800Accountant is seeking an experienced Sales Manager, who will be responsible for leading a team of 15-20 sales professionals, providing daily coaching and development to drive increased performance and productivity, routinely monitor sales and productivity diagnostics and focus on meeting/exceeding assigned business objectives. 


  • Manage day to day operations of a team of sales team
  • Drive increased productivity and associate effectiveness through ongoing coaching and development
  • Implement activities to drive employee recognition and engagement through contests and other gamification activities
  • Monitor employee productivity and performance diagnostics 
  • Evaluate inside sales strategies and processes and recommend improvements
  • Supervise team in accordance with company policies & procedures
  • Manage and maintain CRM tracking and reporting
  • Proactively contribute innovative ideas and best practices to drive growth and meet / exceed business objectives
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive enhanced market share, product offering and new opportunities
  • Execute monthly/weekly sales strategies depending on the season to maintain consistent performance
  • Participate in recruiting/hiring process when requested
  • Administrative tasks, as needed


  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • 1+ years of related inside sales management experience
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Passionate about coaching Small Business Tax Specialists to reach their maximum potential
  • Strong work ethic, Professional, Reliable, Accountable Ability to stay current on company processes and procedures
  • Ability to work in a self-directed, fast-paced environment
  • Strong CRM experience, SalesForce a plus
  • Highly proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Google Docs
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with ability to understand impact, identify root cause, determine the resolution, and make recommendations

Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Sales, the Sales Manager is responsible for driving their team to achieve assigned business objectives, including but not limited to monthly sales budget and client experience goals.
