Salesforce Administrator / Developer

The Salesforce Administrator/Developer's primary responsibility is to ensure the ongoing day-today maintenance for Salesforce and other applications. S/he will serve as the main contact for all first-level support requests, managing and responding to a caseload of administrative and system issues within the Salesforce application. S/he will also enable and empower staff members to optimize their use of the platform to increase efficiencies in their areas of work. This roll will be responsible for the setup and deployment of Salesforce; this will include working with sales, sperations, End users, Help Desk, and Developers.  A successful candidate will need to interact with other internal and external technical resources, as well as functional Business Analysts, Sales Managers, Training and Project Managers.


  • Understand all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical / functional capabilities.
  • Manage all new user setups and deactivation, including transferring ownership of accounts/contacts/opportunities for deactivated users.
  • Manage all security settings and conduct regular security / configuration audits.
  • Participate in system implementation projects including but not limited to requirements. documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution.
  • Maintain updated system documentation and Salesforce polices / procedures.
  • Support Marketing's use of Salesforce, including assisting with mailing list generation/cleanup as needed and helping Marketing automate processes related to campaigns.
  • Support business-critical systems using developed IT management standards.
  • Maintains a high-level familiarity with other IT system / business application capabilities and scope definition to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection points.
  • Oversee day to day operations, maintenance, and support of Salesforce CRM environment.
  • Full lifecycle implementations .
  • Ability to communicate to C-Level Executives and clients. 
  • Experience in Salesforce configuration- workflows, triggers, process builder.
  • Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Word, Excel, etc.
  • Configuration skills with: Process Builder • Data Loader • Workflow Rules & Approval Processes • Validation Rules • Custom Objects Configuration • Security Controls • Deploy change sets from sandbox to production • Custom report type creation.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a administrator.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
  • Provide strategic consulting of best practices, training programs, and the use of CRM applications to end users.
  • Strong data management abilities.
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified strongly desired.
  • SQL query experience is required.
  • Apex expertise.
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
  • Function with teams across the enterprise including Marketing, Operations, IT and Users to facilitate business requirements and related duties.
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the business within Salesforce, which includes interacting with business users, technology partners, and sourcing partners.
  • Facilitate business process review workshops and perform detailed analysis of client business requirements.
