Inside Sales Manager

Reporting to the Chier Revenue Officer, the Inside Sales Manager is responsible for driving their team to hit all aspects of their sales and client experience goals. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for providing directional leadership and workflow metrics to their Inside Sales team, providing training and coaching, sales techniques and strategies, monitoring and reporting on sales metrics, and managing the sales administration process. The qualified candidate will have strong leadership and coaching skills, a can-do attitude, embrace technology, and have a passion for helping small businesses succeed.

  • Build, manage, and retain an inside sales and sales support team that meets and exceeds both sales goals and customer experience expectations
  • Ensure that the CRM process is followed and being actively driven by the inside sales team
  • Monitor employee productivity and motivate team to exceed daily/weekly/monthly quotas
  • Evaluate inside sales strategies and processes and recommend improvements
  • Supervise team in accordance with company policies & procedures
  • Provide coaching for inside sales team members and training for new team members
  • Conduct potential employee interviews
  • Manage performance reviews, and develop employee development plans
  • Schedule and lead department staff meetings and workshops, as needed
  • Report to senior management on sales metrics, opportunities and risks
  • Manage and maintain CRM tracking, reporting, and sales tracking
  • Record and upkeep employee performance management and coaching file and other administrative tasks, as needed
  • Execute monthly/weekly sales strategies depending on season to maintain consistent performance.


At least 5 years of sales experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of sales management experience
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience reporting to a senior management team
  • Must be technologically savvy
  • Ability to maintain a positive and upbeat attitude at all times
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced environment
  • Strong CRM experience
  • Highly proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities on sales team: Lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and accountability.
  • Ability to manage a team of 10 or more inside sales representatives
  • Ability to problem solve, understand impact, identify root case, determine resolution and make recommendations
